This is a really delicious soup! It's a cold dessert soup with a sweet-and-sour flavor that's really nice after a larger meal... or to cool off on a hot day! And it's really quick and easy to make! Here's how you do it:
Puree the strawberries in a blender, then dump the milk, cream, sour cream, brown sugar and orange juice into the blender and blend everything together until it's thoroughly mixed. If the soup isn't already cold, refrigerate it for at least an hour. Also, be sure to keep the soup refrigerated until you are ready to serve it (it's best to make the soup as close to the time that it will be served as possible). Makes 6 servings of 1 cup (250 mL) size. To garnish the soup, hull the nice-looking strawberries; place a sprig of mint into the top of each one; and then gently set one strawberry with mint on top of each bowl of soup. What a great way to end a meal! Please remember that you found this finishing touch here at StrawberriesForStrawberryLovers.Com, Home of the World's Happiest Fruit!
