This no-bake, frozen strawberry pie recipe is one of the best strawberry pie recipes around! Really easy... really beautiful... and really good!
For the Strawberry Pie's Filling:
First, melt the butter or margarine, then mix it with the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Next, line a 9 inch (23 cm) diameter cake or pie pan with parchment paper, then line with the graham cracker crumb mix (lining the pan with parchment paper is optional, but it will make it easier to remove the finished dessert later). Finally, to finish preparing the crust, set it in the refrigerator to allow it to harden. To make the strawberry chiffon pie's filling, begin by cutting the strawberries into cubes no more than 1/2 inch (1 cm) in diameter. Next, stir the sugar and lemon juice into the strawberry mousse, then gently fold the cubed strawberries into the filling. Pour the filling into the pie crust, then set the pie in the freezer and allow it to harden for at least half an hour before serving (the pie will cut better if it is frozen almost completely). A bit of whipped cream may be used for garnish as well. This pie will last about a week if it is kept in a sealed container in a refrigerator, and it will be good for about a year if it is stored in a sealed container in a freezer. Nothing compares to a really good, fresh, crust-recipe strawberry pie! Especially one that looks this good: Enjoy one of these strawberry treats soon!
