If you've been wondering how to make strawberry smoothies without using ice cream or yogurt, you've found your answer: this smoothie uses ice!

Strawberry Smoothie Drink Recipe

• 2 Cups (500 mL) Strawberries (+1 to 6 Strawberries, 1 per Glass)
• 16 Large Ice Cubes
• 2 1/2 Cups (625 mL) Milk
• 4 Tablespoons (60 mL) Malted Milk Powder
• 4 Tablespoons (60 mL) Sugar

This is a basic, blender smoothie recipe, so you can't get much simpler than these strawberry smoothie directions: put all of the nice strawberry smoothie ingredients into a blender and blend until slushy.

So for those of you saying, "Give me a quick strawberry smoothie!"... you got it!

To garnish the drink, carefully slice the remaining strawberries length-wise from their tips, about 3/4 of the length, and place a strawberry on the rim of each glass.

Makes about six 8 oz (250 mL) drinks.

To make a strawberry-pineapple smoothie, just add a single pineapple slice from a can of pineapple slices (or 1/4 cup... 50mL... of chunk or crushed pineapple) to the ingredients for a regular strawberry smoothie and start blending! A second pineapple slice can be cut and placed on the rim of each glass as another garnish.

How do you make a strawberry-banana smoothie? Just add one medium to large banana to the ingredients for a regular strawberry smoothie and blend it all together! A second banana can be sliced (with or without peeling the banana), and the slices can be sliced halfway and placed on the rim of each glass as an additional decoration.
